Takeda as a Senior Project Manager where you will be in a
high-impact role that will provide support to Global Biologics in
project management with responsibility for program prioritization
and coordinating program updates for all partnered programs across
our four therapeutic areas within research. You will communicate
cross-functionally across departments, share project-related risks
and issues, manage schedules, timelines and expectations, and
ensure project updates are communicated to therapeutic program
members. They will utilize project management best practices to map
the scope of work and build project timelines with critical
deliverables to accelerate programs to IND. As part of the Global
Biologics team, you will report to the Senior Director, Biologic
Analytics and Automation Sciences, Global Biologics and have the
opportunity to make a strong impact in a matrix environment by
working across all therapeutic areas (Oncology, Gastroenterology,
Rare Disease, and Neuroscience) as well as platform groups within
research.How you will contribute:
- Work with the Global Biologics Leadership Team (LT) to
orchestrate prioritization and governance of therapeutic programs
consisting of diverse modalities including multi-specific
antibodies, innovative recombinant proteins, cell and gene
therapies, targeted protein-oligo conjugates, and oncolytic
viruses.
- Establish and implement strategic organizational management
processes and timelines to improve productivity and support the
changing needs of a fast-paced organization.
- Generate and maintain a framework for logistics generation
relating to program outcomes.
- Work closely with Leadership Team members to strengthen
partnerships across the four therapeutic areas and identify
strategies to improve efficiency.
- Partner with internal operations to monitor external expenses
and assist with financial forecasting and budget management.
- Multitask project evaluation, documentation, organization of
information and monitoring of project plans in coordination with
the program leads.
- Independent preparation and follow-up of program prioritization
meetings as well as technical support coordination from Global
Biologics.
- Lead preparation of project reports as part of quarterly
reporting.What you bring to Takeda:
- 4+ years of project coordination/management experience in
biotech/pharm industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to
detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Requires flexibility, strong multitasking and organizational
skills, ability to prioritize as well as practice a team player
mindset.
- Independently identify problems and needs as they arise and
work collaboratively with team members as well as others to find
solutions.
- Perform both independently and within cross-functional team
environment.
- Form productive working relationships with colleagues across
Takeda.
- Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative
situations.
- Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to
influence without authority.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
