Ryder is actively seeking a talented and experienced Automotive Technician Mobile to join our esteemed team, committed to revolutionizing the automotive service landscape through innovation and efficiency. This role is essential in upholding Ryder's reputation by ensuring our fleet and client vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. As a mobile technician, you will be at the forefront of our operations, providing on-site vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance across various locations. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including electrical systems and hybrid/electric vehicles. Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to accurately identify mechanical issues. Document all service and repair activities, ensuring compliance with Ryder policies and industry standards. Manage a fully-equipped company service vehicle and maintain an inventory of parts. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting directly with clients to advise them on services performed and recommend additional maintenance when necessary. Adhere to safety standards and local mechanics' protocols. In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and components (brakes, hydraulics, diesel engines, diagnostic tools, etc.) Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools. Ability to work independently from a mobile unit. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
