RESPONSIBILITIES: Master the Blueprint - Work independently from
complex drawings and verbal concepts to fabricate, alter, or repair
precision parts with ultra-tight tolerances Dial In the Details -
Adjust manual machinery and tooling to maintain critical dimensions
and ensure flawless performance Think Like an Engineer - Interpret
intricate blueprints and plan machining sequences that maximize
efficiency and minimize waste Command the Machines - Perform
progressive operations-drilling, pressing, turning, milling,
assembling-on a wide range of materials to meet exacting specs
Crunch the Angles - Use trigonometric formulas to calculate
compound angles and dimensions with pinpoint accuracy Build What
You Need - Fabricate your own tooling and fixtures to support
production and solve complex challenges Finish with Precision -
File and deburr small-lot production pieces to meet final spec
requirements Inspect Like a Pro - Set up and operate precision
measuring tools like micrometers, gauge blocks, height stands and
other measuring equipment to verify every detail Flex Your Skills -
Take on additional duties as needed to support the mission and keep
production moving Qualifications Minimum: Must be willing to work
2nd shift - start 3PM High School diploma (or equivalent) or GED 4
years' experience as a CNC machinist (Haas, Okuma & Multus)
Thorough knowledge of machining principles and GD&T Ability to
work safely and independently This position requires access to
technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by
US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must
be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval
under a U.S. Government export license) Ability to obtain and
maintain a security clearance Preferred: 5 plus years' experience
as a CNC Machinist 5 plus experience with setting up CNC mills
(Haas, Okuma & Multus) 3 plus Lathe experience (Hardinge, Sharp,
Okuma, Bridgeport EZ Path) Experience using precision measuring
equipment such as CMM, Keyence, Comparator and other various
optical equipment Excellent math skills including trigonometry and
geometry to calculate angles, dimensions and offsets Excellent
diagnosis and troubleshooting skills Ability to fabricate and make
adjustments to tooling and/or fixtures without supervision Ability
to improve efficiency and quality by understanding code, making
edits and optimizing tool paths Ability to read and interpret
complex blueprints (written and/or verbal ideas) in order to
fabricate, alter or repair machined parts where required tolerances
are often tight tolerance and complex. Prior experience working
with various types of metals and holding ultra tight tolerances
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience in a defense
contractor, aerospace, or military environment The application
