Job Description Job Description Aerotek is currently hiring for a maintenance supervisor in the greater Baltimore, MD area! Please see details below: Job Description As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery by performing regular checks, calibrations, and maintenance tasks. You will also respond to equipment breakdowns, perform quality inspections, and fit new parts as necessary. Responsibilities Oversee a team of mechanics and ensure they are completing assigned work orders and repairs while adhering to company safety standards Train and develop mechanics by providing them with assigned work orders and goals for each day Complete all required paperwork in a timely and efficient manner Performed maintenance and repairs to production machinery including but not limited to conveyor belts, gear boxes, motors, packaging machinery, food processing machinery, etc. Check and calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy Fit new parts and carry out quality inspections Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns and fix faults or arrange for replacements Make scheduled checks on machinery and parts Perform immediate responses to machinery breakdowns Essential Skills Experience with 3-phase, 480v systems Technician and assembly skills Ability to perform changeovers and act as a controls specialist Experience with conveyors, CST, and electrical systems Knowledge of feed systems, gearboxes, hydraulics, and motors Ability to operate and maintain mechanical and electrical systems Proficiency in reading blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly.
