Electrician Job Description This position is responsible for
establishing and maintaining all the manufacturing equipment within
the production areas. The role involves maintaining machinery and
equipment in optimum working condition, providing technical
assistance to operators and supervisors on mechanical, electrical,
electronic, and pneumatic problems, recommending equipment
replacement, and scheduling and performing preventative
maintenance. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and replace
electrical components for various types of manufacturing equipment,
including variable speed motors, VFDS, Micromaster drives,
encoders, contractors, relays, and related software programs. Solve
electrical problems involving control wiring and board repairs and
use all electrical measurement devices and mechanic tools. Read and
interpret equipment operation and parts manuals, electrical
schematics, and perform computer tasks related to work.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage (single,
three phase) industrial electromechanical and control systems for
utility and production equipment. Install, wire, and maintain
relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid
valves, motors, starters, VFDs, PLC I/O modules, analog control
devices, and safety circuits. Layout circuits, install fixtures,
and be able to bend and run conduit, install motors, and other
electrical devices and components. Essential Skills 1 years of
experience working as a maintenance technician in an industrial
manufacturing environment. Experience in wiring and
troubleshooting. Mechanical troubleshooting experience. Ability to
perform mechanical work, including valve replacement, conveyor
bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, and
electrical lube routes. Experience reading blueprints and
schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must provide own

Environment The work environment is a manufacturing setting that is
dusty and not temperature-controlled. The role is on a night shift

Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
