Job Description:

Our client in Cherry Hill, NJ is looking for a Software Engineer - CMS 2Y to join their team. This will be a contract role through the end of 2021 with the possibility to extend. This is for a government contract and candidates must currently hold at least an interim Secret Clearance. All work will be done on site. Position Description:

• Performs subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration and tests for a subsystem.
• Participates in software requirement review, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness review, and software acceptance review.
• Researches problems discovered by quality assurance or product support and develops solutions to problems.
• Supports proposal efforts.
• Frequent interorganizational and outside customer contacts.
• Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects. Required Skills:
  • 7+ years related experience
  • Extensive Experience with Structured CMS-2 design/development including ULTRA-32 assembly language programming and patching.
  • 7+ years of experience developing software with CMS-2Y for an AN/UYK-43.
  • Experience working with the Windows, Solaris, and UNIX environments.
  • Experience developing Solaris, and other variants of UNIX scripts.
  • Strong skills with MS Office and Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as ClearCase.
  • Familiar with VAX operating environment.
  • Experience with CMMI Level 5 lifecycle processes and procedures.
