Job Description Job Description About the Opportunity: Our partner schools in Folcroft are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to join their teams. We’re looking for educators committed to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments and who can effectively tailor instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and backgrounds. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Differentiate instruction based on students’ individual learning styles, strengths, and challenges Collaborate closely with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and success Apply a variety of teaching techniques and educational tools to foster engagement and learning Regularly monitor student performance and adjust instructional strategies as needed Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social-emotional development and behavioral growth Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant team or school meetings Perks & Benefits: Weekly compensation Monday-Friday, day hours (weekend opportunities available) School schedule: all major holidays and summer off Choose the setting that suits you (school, home, community) Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Teaching Certificate in Special Education Teachers holding out-of-state certification must apply for reciprocity through the PA Department of Education Background Checks, up-to-date FBI and state clearances.
