Support students in a dynamic K-12 school environment serving diverse educational needs in a full-time, contract role starting immediately through June 12, 2026. Two openings are available for paraprofessional positions supporting Special Education students with varying levels of individualized assistance. Position 1 focuses on a 2:1 student service role at the elementary level, providing push-in and pull-out support for general education students without behavioral challenges. Position 2 involves a 1:1 student service role onsite at the elementary level, working directly with students who may require more intensive support. Ideal candidates will bring experience working with special education and behaviorally challenged students, demonstrating both patience and flexibility. Comfort working with a K-12 caseload is essential to meet varied needs across grade levels. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, have a CPR certification or be willing to obtain one, and be able to complete necessary Pennsylvania clearances. Prior school-based experience is required, along with references supporting your work in educational settings. Candidates should also be comfortable assisting with toileting and diapering as needed, and prepared for Zoom interviews as part of the selection process.
