Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available to
support diverse learners in a dynamic school setting. This role
requires dedication to creating inclusive educational experiences
for students with special needs, ensuring they receive tailored
instruction to meet their individual goals. Key responsibilities
include: Developing and implementing individualized education plans
(IEPs) aligned with student needs and educational standards.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists,
counselors, and general education staff, to support student
progress. Monitoring and documenting student performance and
behavior to adjust teaching strategies effectively. Creating a
positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages
student engagement and growth. Communicating regularly with
families to report progress and foster partnerships in education.
Desired qualifications and experience: Valid teaching certification
with specialization in special education. Proven experience working
with students with diverse learning abilities and needs. Strong
understanding of individualized instruction methods and adaptive
technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to travel between school sites as required.
Location: Position is based in Jersey City, NJ, with travel to
