Job Description Job Description Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Construction Location: New Jersey Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail?oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing construction team. This role supports senior project managers in delivering high?quality commercial fit?out projects while ensuring strong client communication and smooth project execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast?paced environment, is highly organized, and brings hands?on experience with construction project workflows. Key Responsibilities Manage change orders , RFIs , and submittals with accuracy and timeliness Work closely with project managers to support overall project goals Operate primarily from the office, with periodic site visits to monitor progress Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness Assist in overseeing commercial fit?out projects from kickoff through completion Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in construction project management , preferably in commercial fit?outs Strong ability to manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals Solid understanding of commercial construction processes , timelines, and documentation Excellent communication and organizational skills Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mountainside, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Medical, dental, vision all covered 401k ESOP program Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Mountainside,NJ.
