Seasonal Administrative Assistant About UsBarger Tax & Accounting LLC is a popular, rapidly growing tax prep office in Cherry Hill looking for a range of employees to fulfill our tax-season needs. Full-time and part time positions are available seven days per week. Open positions include front desk receptionists, reviewers, file clerks, and administrative assistants.We are currently hiring for temporary positions during tax season (January - April) with the opportunity to be invited back in subsequent years. Year-round opportunities may be available in the future.Responsibilities May Include:

  • Scheduling client appointments (includes cross-references client history to ensure sufficient appointment lengths, match with appropriate preparer, book timely appointments to meet tax-related deadlines, new client onboarding)
  • Data entry
  • Communicate with clients in regards to missing documents or items needed for their appointments
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Collecting payments
    • Reviewing of tax return data-entry (proof-reading)
    • Mailing and e-mailing completed returns and other requested documents to clients and appropriate government agencies as needed
    • Filing
    • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
    • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
    • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
    • Other common administrative functions such as scanning, copying, faxing, printing, mailing, filingSkills
      • Experience in a tax office strongly preferred; Drake Tax Software a plus!
      • Proficient in 10-key data entry
      • Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role
      • Ability to multi-task across multiple computer software programs
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
      • Professional attitude and appearance
      • Solid written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
      • Excellent organizational skills
      • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
      • Customer service attitude
      • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plusJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:
