The i-STAT System is an advanced, portable diagnostic tool that provides real-time, lab-quality results within minutes to accelerate patient-care decision-making. The i-STAT System has the industry's most comprehensive menu of tests in a single, with-patient platform, including tests for blood gases, electrolytes, chemistries, coagulation, hematology, glucose, and cardiac markers.Job SummaryThe Senior Manager, Global Distributor Excellence will provide insight and shape Abbot Point of Care distribution strategy and contracting processes, monitor distributor performance, and provide analytics-driven insights on distributor opportunities, risks and segments. S/he will help define and monitor compliance with business requirements for engaging with distributors, while providing guidance on improving distributor engagement. The Senior Manager will develop the analytics infrastructure for distributor-related dashboards and reports, measure team performance for key performance indicators and service level agreements. S/he will identify and assess business risk, proactively communicating to business partners. The Senior Manager will partner and collaborate with local teams in the development of distributor strategy for that region. Additionally, s/he will identify and understand key areas of change management, as well as recognize, communicate and help lead the change management process in US and International. This position will report into the Global Director, Commercial Excellence, while working collaboratively and cross-functionally with the US and International commercial teams, Marketing, Pricing & Contracting, Legal, Quality, IT and vendor partners.An ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated experience in working with distributors and handling business complexity. S/he is a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, financial understanding and analytical thinking.Job LocationThis position is location at Abbott Point of Care (APOC) US Commercial Headquarters in Princeton, NJ.
