Job Description Job Description Assistant Controller (Must have banking exp)(Hybrid) Located in Manhattan Base salary $80,000–$100,000 depending on skills and experience We are seeking an Assistant Controller with strong data analysis, SQL, and Excel skills to join a Financial & Data Control team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on exposure to banking, regulatory reporting, and financial analytics . Key Responsibilities Support U.S. regulatory and financial reporting (Fed, NYSDFS, U.S. Department of Commerce) Analyze and validate financial data related to P&L, balance sheet, capital, and liquidity Assist with monthly closings, management reporting, and audits Use SQL and Excel to analyze data and automate reporting Prepare ad-hoc reports and support data/process improvement projects Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or financial reporting Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work on-site in New York This role requires unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
