detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in New York.
This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity
to transition into a long-term role based on performance. The ideal
candidate will manage payroll operations for a large workforce
across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
company policies and regulations. This role is perfect for

within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: •
Process and manage full-cycle payroll for employees across various
locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Handle multi-state
payroll operations, including union and non-union employee groups.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and JD Edwards to execute payroll tasks
effectively. • Prepare detailed payroll reports and documentation
to support internal audits and compliance checks. • Coordinate with
field teams and departments to gather payroll data and resolve
discrepancies. • Manage electronic remittance and ensure proper
handling of payroll-related transactions. • Maintain and update
payroll records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational
standards. • Use Microsoft Excel to create and manage formulas for
payroll calculations and reporting. • Respond to payroll inquiries
and provide exceptional support to employees. • Assist with
onboarding and training for payroll systems to ensure seamless
adoption. • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management,
including processing payroll for over 500 employees. • Familiarity
with multi-state payroll operations and union payroll processes. •
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and JD Edwards software. • Strong
knowledge of electronic remittance and payroll-related financial
transactions. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the
ability to use formulas and create detailed reports. • Excellent
organizational and time-management abilities to handle high-volume
payroll operations. • Strong communication skills to liaise with
various teams and address payroll inquiries. • A background in
finance or accounting is preferred, with the ability to adapt to
complex business structures.
