We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our fast-paced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee and manage all aspects of our financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

As a Controller, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Coordinating all audit activities and manage reporting, budget development, and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
3. Implementing and monitoring the month, quarter, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
4. Conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to inform strategic decisions and business planning.
5. Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
6. Performing bank reconciliations and managing cash flow in a timely manner.
7. Supervising accounting staff and providing guidance and leadership to the team.
8. Implementing cost analysis systems and strategies to optimize profitability.
9. Collaborating with executive leadership to define financial strategy and policy.
10. Ensuring the company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Controller position must have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
4. Experience with "month-end close" procedures and the ability to implement and monitor the month, quarter, and year-end close process.
5. Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and accounting management.
6. Demonstrated proficiency in cost analysis and financial strategy development.
7. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
8. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
