Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team in Cherry Hill. If you are ready to be the Controller's right-hand person and also own the local accounting functions, this is the position for you! You will have the opportunity to let your leadership skills shine! This role is Hybrid, two days in the Cherry Hill office. Salary ranges from $120k - $130k depending on experience. Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and creating projections
  • Lead closing process and is responsible for creating correlating financial reports for all reporting cycles
  • Work with the Controller to support the financial points of the local business decisions with a focus on cost accounting
  • Own the day to day accounting, billing, payroll, and financial reporting functions
  • Oversees other departments and communicates/develops accounting and budgeting procedures and policies
  • Help with the audit process, working directly with external auditors in year-end and interim audit requirementsQualifications
    • CPA required
    • Managerial Experience
    • Knowledge of Cost Accounting
    • Manufacturing experience preferred
    • Public Accounting Experience a plus
    • Must have 5+ years of related experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
