Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is
looking for a Financial Coordinator to work on the daily financial
responsibilities of the agency, with a focus on accounts payable,
donor recordkeeping, data entry and documentation for grants, and
other finance-related assignments.Responsibilities -Facilitate
processing of accounts payable check requests and check
distribution weekly-Maintain accounts payable filing system-Record
donor pledges and payments in donor database-Research and enter new
donor information in donor database-Reconcile total pledges and
pledge receivables per donor database to the accounting system
monthly-Prepare and send invoices to agency sponsors as
requested-Assist with management of Holocaust Survivor grant
expenses and documentation-Maintain FEMA grant documentation of
expenditures-Assist with other finance-related tasks as
assignedRequired Experience and Education Bachelor's degree
preferred, High School degree with two years minimum experience in
office administration Additional Requirements -Excellent Microsoft
Office skills, especially Excel-Database experience
preferred-Strong organizational, time management and technical
skills-Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize multiple
tasks-Good understanding of basic business and financial
procedures-Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standards The
